Hi all,

I'm trying to find possible causes for the HighFRSAuthFail event occuring regularly on 4 of my 5 domain controllers.
The message states that 100% of packets for file replica set c:\windows\sysvol\domain failed the authentication.

I've run FRSDiag as well as DCDiag, and the only errors I see is a warning regarding disk space.

Where else might I look for possible causes/solutions?

Thanks,
Matt

RE:

Hi Matt,

Unfortunately we have done research with Microsoft and they have never been able to give us a reason as to the cause to the failures. We recommend disabling the event as it does not appear to be very helpful. To disable the event open the event monitor and select the event and click disable, this will have to be done for each server.

Thanks,
Alison
