6.2: Longitude installation on Windows 2008 R2

On some Windows 2008 R2 servers, Longitude may experience one or more of the following problems:
- Time archived by Longitude is in GMT
- WMI collections fail with errors like Exception Thrown while performing operation: $1
- Component status in Administration >> Component Management >> Display Status is red, even through components are running
To patch these errors, please do the following:
- If Longitude is using GMT, adjust the component LAX files as described in 6.2: Incorrect Time Seen in WebUI.
- If Longitude WMI collections are failing with “Exception Thrown while performing operation: $1” errors, do the following:
- Download the zip file containing the patches.
- Stop the Longitude Statistics Server
- Backup the following files from Longitude\lib to a different directory:
- FzeTrackingLog.dll
- FzeWmi0.dll
- FzeWmi1.dl
- Extract the files from the zip file to Longitude\lib
- Restart the statistics server service
- If Longitude component status is displayed incorrectly in Administration >> Component Management >> Display Status, do the following:
- Download the zip file containing the patches.
- Stop the Longitude Upgrade Manager service
- Extract the files from the zip to the Longitude\appman\lib directory
- Start the Upgrade Manager service
- Stop/Restart the Web UI service
