    • Streamlined installation
    • Enhanced welcome page with additional web resource links
    • Support for 64 bit Management console and agent installations
    • Documented MAXDB reserved words not to be used for initial Longitude account

    • Ability to disable drop down menus

    • Added Support for IE8

  • Event Monitor
    SNMP Trap and Syslog solutions able to use device name instead of an IP Address

  • SLA/Statistics Dashboards
    Out of the box Statistics and SLA Dashboards for:
    • Ping
    • Windows CPU
    • Unix CPU

  • Reports – Improved performance
    • Summary tables in the database to improve the speed of reporting for:
      • SLA Summary/Detail Reports
      • Events Summary Report
      • Unix/Windows Detail/Summary/Overview Reports
    • Removed Events from the Summary Reports to speed up report rendering – the Events are still available as standalone reports
    • Removed computer name on disk detail report so disk drive name is viewable
    • Automatically close calendars after selecting a date in configure reports

    • Internet - Added Support for Selenium 1.02b and Firefox 3.0
    • Oracle – Improved alerting for Instance Down
    • SQL2008 – New application to monitor SQL Server 2008
    • VMWare - Added VMware 3.5 support

    • Components can be configured to use more than 2GB of RAM on 64 bit Management consoles/Agents
    • Improved data deletion algorithms
    • Improved MaxDB database sizing and memory usage
