kb65: WMI based collections fail to register with permissions error

The Service Account assigned to the Heroix Longitude Statistics Server Service must be a member of the Local Administrators group on the Windows computers from which statistics will be collected.

If the Heroix Longitude Statistics Server Service is running under an account that does not have administrative privileges on the Windows computer that you are trying to monitor, all of the collections will fail to register. The errors may include:

• Access denied
• Logon failure
• Current account does not have permissions to collect from device.
